minimum wage

minimum wage has been in the united states for about 55 years.minimum wage is the lowest wage that an employer is allowed to pay; determined by contract or by law.The range of increases from 1955 to 2010 are $6.50.In the 10-years period from 1955 trough 1965, the minimum wage increased twice. the increased every time by 0.50. the total increased in that 10-year period was $10.25.The years 2000 and 2005 the minimum wage remain the same. The minimum wage during both these years were $5.15.The two years on the chart showed the most gain in minimum wages are 1975 and 2010.
the workers are most likely to earn minimum wage are people that work in mac Mcdonals White Castle and clothing stores and jobs like those. a realistic weekly take-home wage of someone taking care of a family would be $600 $15.00 an hour. A worker can increase his chances of earning more than the minimum wage by working on a job for a long time. What i think about the fifty-five year history of minimum wage increases, that the government should put it a little more higher.
